The beginning of a new journey is certainly hard, but challenging. The real challenge, however, is being able to stay the course in order to achieve the goals one has set.
What challenged the company back in the year of its founding, 2008, was the heavy financial economic crisis that affected all sectors worldwide. In a scenario in which it seemed that everything was going to collapse, it was extremely complicated to obtain the necessary financing from banks to be able to sustain the initial investments. PM was just a new microenterprise that had just entered the market, without any historicity. The nights were often sleepless and the pressure constant.
Despite early difficulties, tenacity and countless sacrifices were instrumental in succeeding in bringing to market the first products entirely designed, developed and manufactured by PM.
It was immediately a great success.
Often the orders that came in were beyond production capacity, which not only energized the entire team but also required new strategies and goals.
One of the defining moments just over a year after PM's birth, and one that proved prophetic for the company's future history, was definitely the visit of Cav. Silvano Pedrollo. This meeting led to the beginning of a collaboration that we can call instantaneous and that went beyond all expectations.
The company Pedrollo first, and then many other market leaders in the electric pump industry, believed in PM, making it grow in reliability, until it became synonymous with excellence in the electric pump industry.
New challenges, and an established relationship with customers, laid the foundation for steady growth driven by the fact that every year all the profit was invested in research, development and new, increasingly automated production facilities.
In just 15 years, PM has grown from a space of 700 sqm, to 2,400 sqm, to 5,400 sqm, to the current 9,000 sqm with the construction of a new modern production site.
Production has grown from a few dozen pieces to today's nearly 1,000 daily units, and the markets and number of customers are continuously growing, resulting in an increase in turnover and the number of employees, both direct and indirect.
Yet it is precisely in the face of successes that it is important not to stop and to dream bigger and bigger.
